Look around inside...

Inside Le Loret we pride ourselves on maintaining local traditional brocante interior décor, with simple comfortable furnishings. The large conservatory lends a feeling of permeablity between the inside and outside, enhancing one's closeness with the forest and the natural environment. At Le Loret, isolated by the surrounding trees, and the amazing insect life, birds and mammals that it holds, one shares the house with nature. There is no air-conditioning in the house but fans are available for hot weather.

Upper Ground Floor

On the upper ground floor there is a large open plan sitting room, with comfortable chairs that allow you to get lost in a book and enjoy the views across the valley to the forest. A large TV means you can enjoy a film in the evening after a long day outside.

The old hallway is a perfect place to enjoy cards or a game next to one of the three large fireplaces and local artwork. 

The large conservatory is a perfect place to sit in the comfortable wicker chairs and feel like you are outside before the day heats up. This is a fantastic room to eat in the mornings or late evenings - and feels like you are in the forest as you look up to the canopy of the oak trees above. The conservatory opens onto the swimming pool terrace on one side, and a hammock hide away on the other.

Accessible from these areas is the snacks and drinks kitchen with freezer - which allows easy access for picking up another cold carafe of Rose before supper, or demonstrating cocktail prowess...

There is an extensive collection of books in English and French on the first floor balcony.

Lower Ground Floor

The lower ground floor is home to a large fully equipped kitchen complete with enormous French Oak fireplace. Traditionally French in style, the kitchen is an attractive room with views over the valley and traditional French windows which open to allow a breeze. 

WiFi

We do not provide Wifi throughout the house as this encourages you to get away from it all and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

There is a dedicated wifi spot on the first floor.
