Gardens, Pool and Forest

Le Loret is surrounded by mature French oak forest on all sides and provides a true sense of privacy. The forest has a number of walking trails in it and you can join the national walking trails that run along the top of the rigeway. Follow the trail beyond the hammock above the pool and you will reach the trail after about 5 minutes and a small fence. There are maps provided in the house. It is possible to walk to the local village and return without retracing your steps. The walk is about 2 hours, with the village about the halfway mark.

Around the house traditional stone patios surround the 11m heated swimming pool. There are ample places to sit and relax in sun and shade, however you wish.

Guests have use of sunloungers and a large parasol next to the pool which is fixed to the ground.

A mature cherry tree (which produces delicious fruits in early season) provides a fantastic place for children to play outside and in the shade. We also provide a large playmat if requested to protect small knees from the patio stone.

At the Ardeche side of Loret is an additional terrace next to the kitchen that can be used for eating and for playing away from the swimming pool.

There are several hammocks situated around the property where you can find the space to enjoy the wind in the trees and a good book.
